Our flat is in a Bohemian area in Göteborg

called Haga. Just around the corner Eija

Niskakari runs the classiest cake shop in

Göteborg, Tårterian. We became friendly

with her and discussed produce a book

featuring her cakes against the back-drop

of Haga. We sold the idea to ICA Bokförlag

and Sötsaker från Haga (A Taste of Haga)

was published in both Swedish and English

in 2007.

Lovely Eija has become a very dear friend

and we have recently worked together on

Festbröd and Soppor & Bröd.
