One of our favourite haunts on an icy day in

Göteborg, was the seductively cosy soup

kitchen, Cafeva. We were with our

colleague and dear friend Eija, one day,

enjoying a rich beetroot and parsnip soup,

when, as one, we thought of this producing

book. Eija is a trained baker and Ingrid's

library of soup recipes extensive, so we

quickly photographed and designed a

presentation.

Our publisher Lars-Eric at Votum loved the

idea and we worked through the Spring for

a July deadline so the book would be

printed for the Bokmässan in Göteborg in

September
