Alex Matson is the 5th generation to sell
cheese from their shop in Saluhallen. She
imports from all over the world and buys
her British cheeses direct from Neil's Yard
Dairy. We met when Ingrid and I were
producing Saluhallen.
Alex and I had a great time producing this
title. During the last year we have travelled
throughout Europe, interviewing and
photographing artisanal cheesemakers,
learning about their skills and the way they
live.
My dear friend John Doig applied his
inimitable writing skills to the wine notes
and grape essays.
